Infrastructure Enablers
On 14 April 2003 the Mozambican deep water ports of Maputo and Matola were conceded to the Maputo Port Development Company (MPDC) for a period of 15 years. MPDC is vested with the rights and responsibilities to finance, operate, manage, rehabilitate, develop, maintain and optimise the port concession area.

The Beluluane Industrial Park is located just 16 km outside of Maputo City, is a partnership between the State of Mozambique and the private sector partner Chiefton Mozambique.
BIP have over 700 hectares of land, some of which is already serviced with infrastructure for light industry.
BIP is strategically situated on the backbone of the Maputo Development Corridor, linking Mozambique to South Africa and Swaziland. The Park is located on the N4 highway that links Maputo to South Africa’s economic and industrial heartland of Nelspruit, Witbank, Johannesburg, and Pretoria.
